Default Custom Menu -A Quick Introduction

The ‘Custom Menu Definitions’ feature in Legrand CRM CORP edition (from release 5.1.23 and higher) allows end users to invoke web applications, desktop applications or retrieve a network file while passing up to 5 parameters.

The custom menu option can be evoked from the drop down menu within the Company and Contact modules only.

Some examples of the usages.

Web / URL link

You can create a custom menu to open up any of webpage, for example, www.google.com

And define the custom menu to always have the company name, city, country automatically populate the search engine and find back the results.

If receiving leads through the web capture or a third party this is a quick way of doing background research or qualifying those leads.

External Application

Any external application can be opened you may also have the external application have values passed from Legrand to it.

File or Folder.

We have found this to be particularly useful for marketing staff who use this to call upon a qualification whereby a qualification sheet can be called upon when needed or for sales reps that need to know if there has been a price change.
