I have recently deleted many files (approximately 400) from Quickbooks that had no financial information in them, but were linked to Legrand. Now, when I do my accounting data transfer, I am repeatedly given the alert "Could not find record 'xxxxx-xxxx' in QuickBooks" (one per file deleted) .
I understand why it did it the first time but it is time consuming to have to do it every time. Is it possible to give the option to no longer look for that record and have the record number removed? Instead of just clicking "ok" on the alert, there could be a choice - ie. "Remove this Link", "Remove all Links", and "Skip this Record". Where removing the link would simply clear the AccountingID from the Company Accounting Tab and would prevent the update from looking for that record in the future. Yes, it is possible to remove the link between a Legrand CRM account and a QuickBooks account.
When you are positioned on the Company Account in Legrand CRM click on the Accounting tab in the middle of the screen. If you have already deleted that account in QuickBooks you'll get a message that this account no longer exists in QuickBooks. Close the message and then click on the blue underlined Accounting Menu to bring up a menu. In that menu select the item Clear Link. That will remove the link.
